Welcome to Stepgates Badminton Club.
Stepgates is a well established, friendly and thriving badminton club, playing competitively in leagues around Surrey (Guildford, Woking) and Middlesex (Hounslow & Staines). We have ten regular league teams across a broad range of ability at ladies and mens level doubles and mixed doubles.
Membership is very affordable (currently £125 per season) and we have between 35 - 40 active members. We are very welcoming of new members who are keen to play both club and league badminton. We play club nights on Tuesdays and match nights Wednesdays from 7:45 to 10:30pm. The school offers a modern sports hall with 4 courts, a viewing gallery, changing rooms and showers. Our club is very easy to reach, at Sir William Perkins's Independent Girls School, Guildford Road , Chertsey, Surrey KT16 9BN . (Click for map).
Our badminton club season runs from the first Tuesday in September until the public examinations in May. We also have a summer season on Tuesdays throughout July and August which is open to members of other local clubs.
